The latest craze to sweep the UK has now arrived! Each of these Cube World pieces contain one stick person with their own individual hobby and the ability to creep into each others boxes and interact with one another.
If you want, you can simply sit and watch your Cube World resident living their virtual lives – it’s like being a voyeur but without the lawsuits. Or you can use the buttons on the front to play games with them. Or you can make the most of the built-in motion sensors to move the cube. Try tipping it violently to one side to make them fall over. Or shake the cube and watch the resident hurl his breakfast onto the floor!
So far, so cute. But the best bit is the ability to connect cubes together. This allows the residents of each cube to visit and interact with each other. They might play games together with their own possessions (using the stick and ball to play baseball or send the dog on a retrieval mission, for example). Or they might just get together and dance. Or hug. Or try to pulverize each other with their little stick fists!
You can connect anything from two to sixteen cubes in a variety of structural possibilities. Stack them all vertically to make a tower block. Stack them horizontally to get a street. Or stack them four wide and four high to get that Jailhouse Rock scenario. The residents will do different things depending on the shape of their available Cube World environment!
Each of the four 4.7cm cubes features a different game, motion sensors and magnetic surfaces for world-building. The CR2032 battery required is provided, and replacements can be purchased from any high street. You even get a six month warranty from the manufacturer!
