Instant Snow
Isn't science wonderful? Why some boffs endlessly toil on conundrums like mapping the human genome, others work on things more up our street: Like instant snow.
This is the home version of the sort of stuff that they use in Hollywood to create those seasonal films. Just add a small amount of insta-snow to some water and it miraculously erupts into soft, fluffy, realistic looking snow.
Insta-snow is ideal for bringing some christmas cheer to your own home. Sprinkle it on the tree or decorations or leave suspicious snowy footprints on the kids carpet on Christmas morning. The possibilities are almost endless.
Insta-Snow will start to dehydrate after a few days, so just spray it with water and fluff it up with your fingers to give it a fresh, fluffy look. You can also let the snow dry out completely and use it again. The dry form of Insta-Snow will last forever!
Great stuff for the christmas season, and baffling stuff if you don't bring it out until August.
"Why is it pointless?"
You could just scrape out the freezer for a similar effect, but insta-snow doesn't damp your carpets in the same way.
"Why is it cool?"
Well being fake snow, it certainly looks cool enough.
