Carving out pumpkins is an annual household activity which usually ends up looking like a 4 year old's painting of your garage door. Although still fun and slightly scary, it doesn't half compare to the sculptures you usually see on the Tele or when you pop over to the USA to see their creations.
How is this done, you might ask?
Well the secret is out, and its called the Pumpkin Carving Kit. A simple battery powered device similar to that of a Dremel, although slightly more funky, makes carving designs and other various scary things in to your pumpkin a doddle.
You can either come up with your own design, by just cutting away at the pumpkin randomly (sounds fun), or if you take a look at Firebox's page about this you will find a handful of templates which you can print off, lay on top of the pumpkin, and start carving away perfectly.
Since the highly accurate twin speed device doesn't actually cut all the way through, the finished product creates a ghostly glow rather than just a random light, which might actually scare off some younger trickle-treaters!
Why is it pointless?
If you're someone who doesn't support Halloween in the slightest!... Yes you know who you are
Why is it cool?
Makes life easier when it comes to carving pumpkins, why isn't it cool?
